Visas & Travel Documentation

- Not disembarking at a port does not waive visa requirements — boarding will be denied without correct visas.
- All passengers under 18 years of age are required to travel with an unabridged birth certificate, in addition to a valid passport, with effect from 01 June 2015.
- It is the responsibility of travellers to familiarize themselves with the new Immigration Act detailing the regulations for minors departing from, transiting through and returning to South Africa.

Please read and accept the following terms and conditions before we proceed with the issuance of your airline ticket(s):
1. Booking Confirmation
- All reservations remain subject to airline availability and fare confirmation at the time of ticket issuance.
- Airline fares are dynamic and may change without notice until tickets have been fully issued and paid for.
2. Payment
- Full payment is required prior to ticket issuance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Proof of payment must be provided to enable processing.
- Tickets will only be issued once cleared funds have been received.
3. Name Accuracy
- Passengers are responsible for ensuring that all names provided exactly match the passport or identification document that will be used for travel.
- Any name changes after ticket issuance may result in airline penalties, reissue fees, or the purchase of a new ticket.
4. Changes and Amendments
- Any changes to dates, routes, or passenger details are subject to airline fare rules, availability, and applicable fees.
- Additional fare differences may apply at the time of amendment.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation and refund policies are governed by the airline's fare rules.
- Certain tickets may be partially refundable or completely non-refundable.
- Any approved refunds may take several weeks to be processed by the airline.
6. Travel Documentation
- Passengers are responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas, health certificates, and any other required travel documentation.
- JD Travels cannot be held liable for denied boarding, entry refusal, or losses resulting from inadequate travel documentation.
7. Schedule Changes
- Airlines may change flight schedules, aircraft types, or routes without prior notice.
- JD Travels will communicate any changes received from the airline but cannot be held responsible for airline operational decisions.
8. Check-In Requirements
- Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least:
- 2 hours before domestic departures.
- 3 hours before international departures.
- Failure to check in on time may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the ticket value.
9. Baggage
- Baggage allowances vary by airline and fare type.
- Passengers are responsible for verifying baggage allowances and any excess baggage charges before travel.
10. Liability
- JD Travels acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline.
- All transportation is subject to the terms and conditions of the operating airline.
- JD Travels shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, strikes, force majeure events, or any losses arising from airline operations.
