Just completed another epic journey with JD. Our second in as many years. Very good service from the get go. Personalized with Zubair accompanying the group. I must say for me the group dynamic was the standout feature. That made everything else so much more memorable and enjoyable. The Caring sharing praying laughing joking ( sometimes crying) vibe came so naturally it seemed organic.

My husband, mom and I went on the JD Travels three Haram Middle East Umrah Tour in Dec 2023/Jan 2024 and what an amazing experience it was! The places we visited were Egypt (Cairo and Nuweiba), Palestine (Jerusalem and Hebron), Jordan (Amman and Petra), Madinah and of course Makkah. Every place we visited holds a special memory for each of us and we would highly recommend booking this trip.
It was my moms first time travelling and she thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also our first time travelling in a group and it really was such a wonderful experience. The tours were rich in Islamic history but we also learnt about other religions and civilisations, giving us a broad understanding of the places we visited. Reading the Quran now and the meaning of certain surahs or verses and being able to place yourself in the site being referred to, is something else.
The accommodation was of good quality, the buses were comfortable and the tours were well curated. It is clear that this is more than just a business for the JD Travels team. They care about the people that travel with them and they care deeply about the purpose of their trips. This was evident throughout the trip. Bumps along the road are expected with any travel adventure and they were dealt with exceptionally well by Zubeir, our tour leader, with clear communication.
Although our trip was relatively long (26 days) I feel like we just scratched the surface and I would definitely like to return one day and do the trip again! We want to thank the JD Travels team for a wonderful experience and for making our first Umrah trip such a special journey!
